Minor Peewee, 2015-2016 (York-Simcoe Express)

This holiday season, the Minor Peewee boys gave back to our community by providing gifts for a family in need, as identified by Southlake Hospital. Thanks to our YSE families and others who supported this important initiative. Your generosity is appreciated. Wishing you all a Happy Holiday. 

The Minor Peewee’s had a busy October, with a combined total of 10 regular season and tournament games. The boys battled back this month with an impressive 7-1-2 record. Kicking off the month with a 5-1 home game victory, they went on to Tim Horton’s Hamilton Huskies Thanksgiving tournament finishing 2nd in their division and 5th overall (3-1-0) . The team returned home for a 4 -4 tie game against Quinte Red Devils, at the YSE 25-yr anniversary home series. Then, the boys hit the road to North Central Predators and Oshawa Generals, ending their 10 game stretch with 2 more wins at home against ...

The Minor Peewee’s kicked off their 2015 – 2016 season with a two-week training camp. After several practices, the team played in Toronto Exhibition Series winning 3 of their 4 games. The boys are now preparing for Ottawa Senators AAA Shoutout this weekend, while their regular season home opener is 2 weeks out against Ajax Pickering Raiders.
