The inaugural Steamtrain Shootout will take place at Ray Twinney Rec Complex in Newmarket and St. Andrew’s College in Aurora from September 20th to September 22nd, 2024.
This U13 Invite-only Can/AM showcase style event will feature competition between teams from Canada and the US in a 5-game format culminating in Championship Sunday. Teams will don custom uniforms included in the tournament package representative of their home countries.
The 2024 STS is now full and will feature the following teams:
USA: Little Caesars, Ohio Blue Jackets, St. Louis AAA Blues, Rochester Coalition
Canada: Vaughan Kings, Elgin Middlesex Canucks, Niagara North Stars, York Simcoe Express
The STS is proud to call NHL All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Curtis Joseph its Tournament Ambassador, and include an opening ceremony appearance from founding YSE member, Mr. Viv Agresti.
