Minor Bantam, 2016-2017 (York-Simcoe Express)

Thank you to the players, friends and family of YSE Minor Bantam for supporting their food drive this past weekend.   They successfully donated 2,000 lbs of food to the Food Bank and then the team spent an hour at the Newmarket Food Pantry not only sorting food, but learning about the needs of the community and how they can help again in the future. Some great teamwork and true character building! Happy Holidays!

YSE Minor Bantam represented York Simcoe Express on Sunday, December 4th as they spent the day at Air Canada Centre and learn from the pros as part of the Under Armour Storm the Centre program.  They competed in what they call The Armour Cup. Learning from Leafs staff and alumni. They learned how they train, how they practice – even how they eat. And then, they played a game on Leafs ice with all the bells and whistles.
