Minor Midget, 2015-2016 (York-Simcoe Express)

Congratulations to the YSE Minor Midget Team who captured their 4th OMHA Gold Championship. The team won all 5 games this weekend defeating the Hamilton Jr Bulldogs 5-2 in the Gold Medal Game at the OMHA Championships held in Clarington this past weekend. Congratulations and Well done

Prior to their game on December 23, the YSE Minor Midget teamed up with their rival Barrie Colts to collect winter clothing to be donated to the local Salvation to help those in need. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Congratulations to the YSE Minor Midget Team on winning the Gold Medal at the 2015 International Silver Stick Championship in Whitby. The team won all their 7 games with an impressive 33 goals for and 3 goals against, including a 3-0 win Gold Medal game against the Mississauga Rebels. Congratulations on a great team effort and a job well done

The Minor Midget team traveled to Michigan this weekend. On Friday they were in Saginaw practicing with the Saginaw Coaching staff and then taking in the OHL game between Saginaw and Owen Sound. On Saturday the team visited Ann Arbor with an exhibition game against Guelph Gryphons followed by a tour and then taking in the NCAA game between University of Michigan and Robert Morris.
