The 2015 International Silver Stick All Star Committee selected Nick Gosse as one of their All Stars, only six players are selected from all the teams. The committee was impressed by Nick's sportsmanship and teamwork. Congratulations Nick

This season the YSE Bantam Team decided to give back something to the community and chose to support the York Region Children's Aid Society's Holiday Hero Campaign. Representatives of the YSE Bantam team took a trip to Upper Canada Mall to do some shopping for items to give their sponsored family to help make the holidays a little happier. The Bantam team travelled to Southbend Indiana this past weekend to participate in the 200 x 85 Showcase at the University of Notre Dame. The showcase provided the team with the chance to play games against the top US Teams including Chicago Mission, Honeybaked, LA Jr Kings, Compuware and Boston Jr Eagles. Along with some great hockey some other highlights were a tour of the University of Notre Dame's hockey dressing room and taking in an NCAA game between University of Notre Dame and Lake Superior State.. A great experience for all.
