YSE Minor Bantams @ Nations Cup & Michigan State
The team travelled to East Lansing, Michigan this weekend for the 2015 Nations Cup and thanks to Coach Reid a behind the scenes look at the NCAA hockey life with a tour of the Michigan State Spartans facilities and dressing room.
The boys also got to see Michigan State take on rival Ohio State that ended up in a 4-1 victory for the home squad MSU Spartans. By far the highlight of the night though was the in-person chat to the team from MSU head coach Tom Anastos, on life as a NCAA hockey player and what it takes to get there.

The boys gutted out a successful weekend that saw the team battling injuries and finishing with a 2-2-1 record. The last game was a gutsy win against the Dallas Elite Stars that saw YSE contribute their points to the Team Canada total. Unfortunately the rest of the Canadian teams didn't have a great day and the US took the hardware but our boys did their job and YSE proud!
Great weekend for all and now back home for the drive to the playoffs in our final four games.
Go YSE!
