With a 4-1 win and a season sweep over rivals Markham Waxers, the boys grabbed 2 points and secured a playoff berth in the second to last game of the regular season.

The team travelled to East Lansing, Michigan this weekend for the 2015 Nations Cup and thanks to Coach Reid a behind the scenes look at the NCAA hockey life with a tour of the Michigan State Spartans facilities and dressing room.

Fun night for the team as they hopped on a bus and headed together for the ACC where they had the opportunity to take in a pre-tournament World Junior Championships game to see Team Canada take on Team Russia. It was a great chance to see how our Juniors look pre-roundrobin and they didn't disappoint. Even though they lost in OT they dominated the game and outshot the Russians by 30 SOG's and Team Canada was without three of the top forwards. Happy Holidays & GO YSE & GO TEAM CANADA!

The team had a chance to visit the drop off centre for the York Region Childrens Aid Holiday Heroes centre and deliver their own contributions to those in need this holiday season. They had a tour and heard about where and how their donations would help families right here in York Region. Nice work boys!

The boys got a great surprise Sunday evening while getting ready for our tilt against the Oshawa Generals when Coach Gregg brought OHL Commissioner and Canadian Hockey League President David Branch into the room for some pregame remarks. He left the boys with some awesome insights into the game of hockey, staying together as a team and what type of player and athlete has the best chance of going further in the sport.
