Minor Bantams Win Markham Majors Fall Classic!
After what can only be described as a gutsy and never-quit effort, the boys went 4-1-1 to take the 2014 Markham Majors Fall Classic.
With wins against the Pittsburgh Esmark Stars and the Wheatfield Sabres and a tie against the Windsor Jr. Spitfires, the team found itself in the semis agains the Ottawa Sting. After battling to a 2-1 win the team earned a berth in the finals against league and division rival Markham Waxers.With a textbook, working class effort the coaches had the boys well prepared and amped up to win the championship over the 2013/14 OMHA Champions and OHF finalist Waxers!Way to go boys and go YSE!!
