The YSE U18 team is thrilled to share that their 2025 Movember Campaign raised $6405.15 - surpassing last year's total. How incredible!
All proceeds are being donated directly to the Movember Institute of Men's Health, supporting research, awareness, and programs that make a real difference in men's lives.
From start to finish, the YSE U18 team stepped up in a big way.
YSE U18 Instagram Post:
At the Big Nickel Tournament, we were blown away by the support - 110% engagement, constant energy, and overwhelming generosity as we sold toques and raised awareness.
Our Longos afternoon in Aurora saw players bagging groceries, greeting customers, and selling toques - with heartfelt donations and encouragement pouring in from the community.
Our night at the Newmarket Hurricanes game gave us another opportunity to share our cause - and once again, the response was incredible.
Visiting teams, families, and age groups throughout the month showed their support - proving just how powerful this hockey community is when it comes together.
And of course, our boys proudly wore their blue Movember jerseys all month long - playing for something bigger than themselves.
A special thank you to:
- Deputy Mayor Tom Vegh
- Movember Representative Steve Smyth
- YSE VP Mark Swirla
And to our Captain, Gavin Loughran, who delivered a genuine and heartfelt speech showing what our team has learned beyond the ice - leadership, empathy, awareness, and the importance of supporting men's health.
A massive thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made this campaign possible -
to the moms who hustled selling toques before games,
and
to the dads who had record-breaking sales and sold out in a single night - your effort, energy, and commitment mattered.
To everyone who donated, bought a toque, shared a post, or encouraged our players - thank you.
Your support made a difference!
Movember may be over, but the message isn't.
Awareness doesn't end on November 30th - keep those blue jerseys on, keep talking, and keep supporting men's health all year long.
