This past Sunday, our U12 team laced up their running shoes and joined the community in the annual Terry Fox Run. It was an inspiring day as players, siblings, parents, and coaches came together not just as a hockey team, but as a family united for a cause that touches so many lives.
Through the team’s fundraising efforts, we are proud to share that we raised an incredible $3,265 for cancer research.
Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to fulfilling Terry’s dream of finding a cure, and we couldn’t be more proud of the commitment shown by our athletes and their families.
The run was more than just kilometers logged—it was about teamwork, perseverance, and giving back. Our players carried the same determination they bring to the ice into this event, proving once again that they are leaders both in sport and in the community.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who supported our team through donations, encouragement, and participation. Your generosity and spirit made this accomplishment possible.
As Terry himself said, “It’s got to keep going without me.” We’re proud to know our U12 team is helping to keep his legacy alive.
