2:30pm Puck Drop YSE Minor Atom vs. Central Ontario Wolves
It is that time of the year again when we try to connect with the community in which we all play and live.  For the 2nd year in a row, we would like to support our local food pantry and give to those in need. The clients who come to the Food Pantry for help have faced a variety of circumstances. For many, an unexpected expense, an illness, or accident, loss of income becomes a crisis which forces them to choose between paying for groceries, rent, or utilities. The Aurora Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families during their toughest times. (Aurora Food Panty)

2:30pm Puck Drop YSE Minor Atom vs. Central Ontario Wolves

This is how we can all support this important cause;
Bring non perishable food or personal care items to our Home Game, at St. Andrew’s College Arena on Saturday December 20th.
We have reached out to our opponents for the day, the Central Ontario Wolves and are asking for them to join us and they have graciously accepted our offer to participate.
The idea is to have both teams of players, parents and fans to meet after the game in the Andrean Room to compile all the donations. We will take some photos and share some hot chocolate and Christmas cookies and the YSE Players will provide each COW Player with a YSE Pin as a gesture of gratitude. At around 4:00pm the Central York Ladder Fire Truck will be coming by to pick up the food that has been and to be donated to the Aurora Food Pantry.

Some suggested non-perishable donations are;
Rice, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Canned Fish, Canned Beans, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit
Boxed Meals, Soups, Stews, Juice Boxes, Cereal, Jams, Condiments, Coffee, Tea, Sugar
Flour, Drink Mixes …. And Much More

The pantry also welcomes donations of personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, and baby products such as baby food, formula, and all sizes of diapers.

If you are unable to attend on December 20 but still wish to make a contribution please contact Jenn Hunter - [email protected] for any donations.

Thank You In Advance For Your Support!
