YSE TRYOUT REGISTRATION NOTICE
As York Simcoe Express plans for a return to the ice with team
tryouts in September, all players interested in registering for the upcoming
tryouts are asked to be aware of the following:
- -Registration for tryouts will open on the YSE website on Monday, August 16. All registration and payments for tryouts will be processed online
- Tryouts for the U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 & U18 teams will take place from Friday, September 10- Thursday, September 16
- Tryouts for the U9, U10 and U11 teams will take place from Monday, September 13-Sunday, September 19
- The vast majority of tryouts will take place at the LaBrier Family Arena at St. Andrew’s College. The tryout schedule for each team will be posted prior to September 1
- Each YSE team will have four tryout sessions (7 total hours of ice time) to accommodate the current public health regulations limiting the number of skaters permitted on the ice at one time. Early registration and payment are encouraged to secure your tryout spot
- All registrations/payments for YSE tryouts must be made online prior to attending a session. Due to current public health restrictions, we are unable to able to accept unregistered participants at the time of the tryout session
- As a reminder, a Permission to Skate form from each player’s local centre is required to participate in YSE tryouts. Please contact your home centre if there are any questions about obtaining your Permission to Skate
