2020 YSE Annual General Meeting Postponement / Tryouts
Submitted By Steve Smythe on Saturday, May 2, 2020
To the YSE Membership / Community Representatives,

I am writing to you on behalf of the YSE Board of Directors in regard to the Notice of Meeting for the 2020 YSE Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th, 2020.

In consideration of the evolving situation and disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, YSE at the direction of the OMHA, has made the decision to postpone the AGM to a date later this summer. The date and time will be announced once confirmation is provided by the OMHA, guided by the directives set by Hockey Canada that hockey at all levels across Canada can resume regular business. This includes but is not limited to YSE tryouts for the 2020/21 season. As more information becomes available, it will be communicated to our members as efficiently as possible.

The YSE Board would like to thank our members and stakeholders for your ongoing patience and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times. Our utmost priority remains the safety and well-being of everyone involved in our sport and throughout our communities.

The YSE Board will continue to provide further details regarding the AGM and all further YSE business, once more information becomes available.

On behalf of the YSE Board, it is our hope that you and your families remain in good health.
