This group of YSE boys invented their very own anti-bullying campaign in their first year as 8 year olds and have made it better and better every year. They just raised over $500 selling "Be A Buddy Not A Bully" stickers yesterday at Magna's Silver Stick tourney and will try to raise another $2000+ next week selling pink tshirts with their new Be A Buddy Not a Bully logo to support Ontario's PinkShirt day Feb 22, 2023. Through the years they have raised thousands of dollars for anti-bullying charities and helped out with all of the other YSE team initiatives including Breast Cancer fundraising, food bank drives, toy drives, and warm clothing collections.
This contest was open to local hockey teams who have made a positive impact in our community and we think the U12s are very deserving. Hopefully you can spare 1 minute a day to vote for these awesome kids! Simply click the link, search up YORK in the search bar and look for our picture!
