YSE Major Peewee - Operation Ottawa Early Bird a Huge Success!
The Major Peewee Express started the season off on the right track with an outstanding performance and tournament victory at the Ottawa Senators AAA Shootout in Kanata Ontario! The team was tested in the round robin [2-1-1] but demonstrated character and perseverance  by coming back to defeat a very good Eastern Ontario Wild team 2-1 in the Tournament Semi.

Hitting full YSE steam in the finals, the team defeated the North Bay Trappers by a convincing 7-1 margin.  The Major Peewee team represented well on both the offensive and defensive side of the ice with 4 players in the top 10 in overall scoring & both goaltenders in top 4 in all tournament goals against average. Led by the outstanding defensive performances by #4 Jack Bar & #14 Bryson Posa the team kept opponents to under 20 shots per game leading to an impressive 7 goals in 6 tournament games combined.

We (players and coaches) definitely still have a lot to work on, but it's a great first step!
